Villa Massage Jaco – An In-Villa Spa Setup At Your Rental
Renting a villa in Jaco usually means trading hotel services for space, privacy and a private pool. In-villa massage restores the one thing a villa rental normally lacks: a spa treatment, without leaving the property.
Villa setups are the most comfortable mobile massage format because there is room to work with. A spare bedroom, a covered terrace or a poolside rancho are all better treatment spaces than a hotel room, and the property is already yours for the evening.
Terrace or bedroom: choosing the space
A covered terrace with an ocean or garden view is the classic Jaco villa setup, especially in the late afternoon when the light softens. Airflow keeps the space comfortable and the treatment ends with the sunset in front of you.
If the villa is screened or the afternoon is especially hot and humid, an air-conditioned bedroom is the better choice. Mosquitoes also make an indoor setup the more practical option near dusk during the rainy season.
Notes for Airbnb and rental guests
You do not need the owner present. Confirm with your host that a therapist is arriving, then send us the property name, gate instructions and any access code so arrival is quick and quiet.
Therapists bring everything and leave the space clean, with no oils or stains on the linens or floor. If your rental has restrictions on visitors or quiet hours, check before booking so the timing fits the house rules.
Making it part of the villa stay
The most common pattern for a villa group is a late-afternoon massage after a day at the beach, followed by dinner at the house. For longer stays, guests often book once early in the trip to recover from travel and again before departure.
Sessions can be scheduled on consecutive days, with the type of treatment changed between them: deep tissue first, then something gentler, or the reverse for a group returning from a surf trip.

Villa Massage Jaco – Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to tell the villa host about the appointment?
It is best to let your host or property manager know a therapist is coming, particularly in gated communities. Access instructions can be shared when the booking is confirmed.
Can you set up by the pool at our villa?
Yes, provided the area is shaded and there is roughly 8 by 10 feet of flat, clear space. Poolside and terrace setups are common and work well in the late afternoon.
Is villa massage available in Los Sueños and Herradura?
Yes. In-villa massage is available throughout Jaco Beach, Los Sueños Resort, Playa Hermosa and Herradura, including gated communities, subject to property access rules.
What should we prepare before the therapist arrives?
Clear the chosen space, have drinking water available, and let the guests who are booked know their appointment time. The therapist handles the table, linens, oils and cleanup.
